Aseem Asha Foundation
Since the entire world is facing the pandemic and looking for the situation to be normal, Aseem Asha Foundation committed to serve the society and take care of their needs during the time of crisis. The foundation has touched and impacted the lives of many people in the previous financial year with generous support from the organizations, people and well-wishers like you.
During the last year we have extended the support and help to the needy people besides continuing to serve the community with our other programs as well. Here is a glance about the work we have done.
Under our newly launched project Covid Relief Fund as part of program NARVAAN we have helped more than 100 people being affected by the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns in terms of food, health, transportation, livelihood, poverty alleviation, marriage, reviving the businesses, distributing personal protective equipment to the people etc.
7 International, National & Cultural Fests were celebrated for 137 beneficiaries of Delhi & India.
Total 13 Local, State & National educational art & culture exposure visits were organized for 53 community beneficiaries.
The foundation has given 4 school level and 6 college level full scholarship to the poorest, neediest and talented students from Okhla community. Total 12 short films were produced by students and 1 film is still under production.
This year only 1 Udaan Community Film Festival was organized at Okhla Community Development Centre for 13 viewers.
Daily approx 6 poor beneficiaries are trained how to cook healthy and hygienic food in the kitchen. Free nutritious and balanced food is also distributed to the beneficiaries.
5 Art, Craft & Media Workshops were also organized for 29 beneficiaries.
We are still determined to aid the community until we achieve a just and equitable society and for this foundation wishes for your kind assistance in future as well. Your donation may help many people in the following manner.
The immediate support is required to pay the monthly rent of activity center and head office of the foundation as the last year we could hardly manage to pay the rents. This year too is very crucial to sustain the center otherwise it may become a threat to its exitance in community.
Administration cost is very important as it’s a backbone of any organization. The monthly expenses on essential things such as office cum center in charge, paid volunteers, journals, periodicals, internet, water and electricity will be done through the donations.
Under the program INAAYAT Aseem Asha Foundation aimed to continue its Healthy Kitchen through which healthy and nutritious food will be distributed to volunteers, community beneficiaries and needy people.
As part of the ongoing NIRVAAN project foundation is determine to provide assistance and support to the people in providing health facilities, helping in getting admission in the hospital, reviving the small businesses, supporting the local artists, providing oxygen cylinders, medicines, injections and personal protective equipment to the neediest people in the community.
Scholarship required for the poor and talented deserving students of community for getting admission in colleges, enrolling in professional and technical courses, continuing the school education etc.
As the foundation is growing on its pace and managed to get an 80 G certificate, with that milestone various maintenance charges become inevitable, hence the grant is needed to pay the legal, accounting and clearance fee as well.
The exposure visits will help the community beneficiaries to widen their horizons of learning and they will become an acquaintance of the country’s art, literature, culture and heritage.
The festival is the event that fills the lives with joy. The festival celebration will help many more people to enjoy the blessings of lives and help the poor people to live with dignity as well. It will spread the message of peace, love and harmony.
The film production is an integral part of the Foundation under its program SANSHREY. The films will help students to learn various media and vocational skills that will help in their academics as well in the professional lives too.
Okhla community is facing a lot of hardships in terms of health, food crisis, poverty, unemployment, job loss, loss of livelihood etc. the requirement become larger even to fulfill basic needs of the community. Foundation humbly appeals you to kindly donate as much as possible in terms of Zakaat/Sadqa or Charity as foundation is in dire needs of the grant.
